Working closely with Macleod Shield, we are now proud manufacturers of their innovative flooring system, Ground Shield. Made from 100% Polypropylene, Ground Shield panels are the ideal floor protection solution for a wide range of applications. Capable of withstanding heavy working loads of up to 150 tonnes per square metre, Ground Shield creates a robust and safe temporary surface that will protect the surface beneath from pedestrians or vehicular damage.
Ground Protection Solution
Meet Ground Shield, an easy-assemble floor protection system that’s suitable for a diverse range of applications. Whether it’s turf protection for pedestrian walkways, disabled access for rough or difficult terrain or land protection from heavy machinery – Ground Shield has got you covered.
Weighing just 12kg per square metre, the panels are easily manageable to lift which makes installation a breeze. This, combined with their standard interlocking zip joints, means there’s no need for any tools, specialist equipment or labour.
Ground Shield panels are highly durable and can be re-used for event after event, meaning they’re incredibly cost-effective. And they can be pressure washed or steam cleaned, so they’ll look good as new for years to come!
The panels can be disassembled easily enough too, allowing you to transform your space with ease.
The Ground Shield system is also available with low soil ingress LD45 Closed Cell Infill on bottom sections, which further strengthens the panels and increases thermal properties for certain applications.

Product Variations
Panels are available in various sizes in increments of 500mm long x 1000mm wide, with a profile width of 100mm and a nominal thickness of 35mm.
Ground Shield panels come in blue and white as standard; however, other colours are available upon request (subject to minimum quantity orders).
